We urge students, Staff, and Faculty to take some time to get to acquaint themselves with the following:
1. Get to know peers and coworkers.
2. Get to know the area, not just on campus but off as well.
3. Learn where the 2911 phones are located and how to use them.
4. Get to know were safe places are, what is locked after hours, and where to find help if you need it.
5. Un prop exterior doors. If the doors are locked it is for your safety. (Dorms locked 24/7)
6. Utilize the campus shuttle. Not only is it faster but safer too.
7. In an emergency dial 2911 from any campus phone.
By taking the time to follow these tips and also agreeing to watch out for each other we can make our campus even safer.
