Jenna Katz '08

Career Interests: Graduate School  

Jenna Katz, daughter of George and Shirley Katz of Williston, VT, is a senior psychology major. She also has minors in sociology/anthropology and religious studies. She is the current president of the Psi Chi Honor Society and a leader on the Mobilization of Volunteer Efforts (MOVE) core team. As part of her involvement in MOVE, Jenna went on two international service trips to Uganda and India. She is currently working on her honors senior research project with Professor Melissa Vanderkaay on relationship satisfaction and health. Last semester, she studied abroad in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she was able to volunteer in an AIDS orphanage. Over the summer, Jenna started working at the North American Family Institute of Vermont where she was a respite counselor for teens in crisis. She currently interns at that same site. Jenna plans to go to graduate school for clinical or social psychology, but may take a year off to travel.
