Mission: The
librarians support the curriculum through instructional
services that assist students with their research and
provide them with information literacy skills for
lifelong learning. To that end, librarians
collaborate with faculty to engage students with
inquiry-based assignments that foster critical thinking
and prepare students to use information wisely and
effectively in their academic, professional, and
personal lives.

-
Information Literacy: Definition, NEASC standards,
competencies, student learning outcomes, assessments, and
assignments.
-
Schedule instruction for your
students:
Request an instructional
session tailored to meet your class needs and assignments! A week's
advance notice allows the librarians adequate scheduling
and preparation time.
-
Library
and Information Studies: Credit
courses taught by the librarians.
-
LIS
Workshops:
LIS workshops are designed to
help students, faculty and staff utilize available
electronic resources for academic studies.
