ARTstor
BioOne.1
.
Brill Dictionary of Religion
Credo Reference
GenderWatch
International Medieval Bibliography
JSTOR Arts & Sciences Complement
JSTOR Biological Sciences
Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts

ScienceDirect Social & Behavioral Sciences College

Print Periodicals Review.  Based on duplication in electronic journals collection and on print format use statistics, some 100 paper journal subscriptions were canceled after faculty review.  As well, some 55 paper journal subscriptions were converted to electronic.  A print periodicals use study was launched at the start of FY08, and will be completed by August 2008.

Added new subscriptions for journal titles comprising the top tier of most requested articles in EBSCOhost Academic Search Premier.

Collection Management – Weeding project.  Developed and implemented a project to weed targeted areas of the circulating book collection based on use statistics, bibliographies of core resources for college libraries, and faculty review.  LC classification areas Z and JX complete.

Retrospective collection building targeted high use subject areas of the book collection, based on resources listed in Resources for College Libraries, a bibliography of core resources for college libraries.

Choice Review Cards routed to faculty to facilitate book selection.

Link Resolver and A-Z List

Implemented 360 Link (Check for Full Text).  SMC users search a database:  when full text of an article is not native to the database, users can click on “Check for Full Text” to cross-search all of the library’s databases to find that article.

Gifts

Collection Services received and inventoried approximately 5700 book and A/V donations.
