The Faculty Development
Lab, conveniently located in Jeanmarie 286 across from the faculty
lounge, is open to any SMC faculty member. It may also be used by
administrative assistants. The lab contains five multimedia PCs and one
G5 Mac, as well as special equipment such as scanners and mini-DVD
recorders. The high-end computers in this lab are well-stocked with
software often unavailable elsewhere on campus. An ITS staff person is
available in the lab for consultation and training. Assistance is
often available on demand but appointments are strongly recommended.
