PURPLE KNIGHT MEN OPEN SEASON WITH LOSS TO GREEN MOUNTAIN

Phone: (802) 654-2537COLCHESTER, Vt. – Saint Michael’s College opened the 2004 men’s tennis season on Tuesday with a 6-3 loss against in-state rival Green Mountain College at the Tarrant Recreation Center.
Green Mountain improves to 1-1 on the season.
The Eagles, despite bringing just four players, won all six contested matches, with the Purple Knights picking up three forfeit victories.
Saint Michael’s returns to action this weekend, as the Purple Knights open the Northeast-10 Conference season by hosting Pace University on Saturday and Bryant College on Sunday, with both matches beginning at 10 a.m.
