CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --- Freshman Greg Maloomian (Needham/Noble & Greenough School) led a list of four double-winners for Bentley College who upended Saint Michael's College 6-3 in Northeast-10 men's tennis action Thursday afternoon.

Bentley improved to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the NE-10, while SMC fell to 2-6 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

Joining Maloomian with a pair of wins were junior Colin Whooten (Norton/Bishop Feehan HS) and freshmen Mike McCrillis (Kennebunkport, Main/Cheverus HS) and Marc Makowski (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS).

Maloomian took a straight-set win at number one singles and teamed with Whooten for an 8-2 win at the top doubles spot. McCrillis and Makowski teamed for a number two doubles win and each won their singles matches handily.

For Saint Michael's, freshman Will Benoit (New London, Conn.) teamed with sophomore Thomas Wu (Litchfield, Conn.) for a number three doubles win and Wu and freshman Andrew Bolduc (South Burlington, Vt.) each tallied singles wins.

Bentley is back in action Sunday, April 4 against Assumption College, while Saint Michael's visits Stonehill on Sunday at 12 p.m.

DOUBLES: Greg Maloomian/Colin Whooten (B) defeated Josh Holt/Quentin Williams (S) 8-2; Mike McCrillis/Marc Makowski (B) defeated Spence Williams/Andrew Bolduc (S) 8-0; Will Benoit/Thomas Wu (S) defeated Justin Roy/Ben Soe (B) 8-3.

SINGLES: Maloomian (B) defeated Holt 6-1, 6-1; Whooten (B) defeated Q. Williams (S) 6-1, 6-1; McCrillis (B) defeated S. Williams (S) 6-2, 6-3; Makowksi (B) defeated Benoit (S) 6-2, 6-2; Bolduc (S) defeated Nathan Khaw (B) 6-4, 5-7, 6-4; Wu (S) defeated Mark Gerner (B) 3-6, 7-5, 6-0.
