Hartford, Conn./Conard) tallied two goals and an assist as Saint Michael's College snapped a two-game losing skid with an 8-5 win at Assumption College in Northeast-10 Conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday. Senior Barrett Hyde (No. Andover, Mass./No. Andover) and freshman Brian O'Connor (Scituate, Mass./Scituate) added two goals apiece for the Purple Knights, while junior Nick Calnen (W. Hartford, Conn./Conard) recorded a pair of assists. Junior Brian Hingston (Concord, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) turned aside eight shots for Saint Michael's (3-6, 3-4 NE-10), while junior Matt Hoffman (Westfield, Mass.) stopped 16 shots for Assumption (1-8, 0-5). Saint Michael's returns to action on Thursday, as the Purple Knights host in-state rival and non-conference foe Norwich University at 3:30 p.m. at Doc Jacobs Field.
