MANCHESTER, N.H. - Saint Anselm scored 63 first half points and cruised home to a 101-69 win over Saint Michael's in Northeast-10 Conference action on Monday in Stoutenburgh Gymnasium.

The win snaps a three-game losing skid for the Hawks who improve to 11-7 overall, 8-5 in the Northeast-10. Saint Michael's falls to 4-12 overall, 1-11 in league play.

The Hawks shot a blistering 63-percent from the floor in the first half (20-for-32), hit 9-of-12 3-pointers (75-percent), and converted on 14-of-16 free throws (88-percent) in building a 26-point halftime advantage, 63-37. The point total is a season-high for one half of basketball for the Hawks.

Saint Michael's held an 11-8 lead after a BJ Robertson (Burlington, Vt./Burlington) 3-point play with 16:18 to remaining but the Hawks went on a 14-0 run and steadily broke out to its second 100-point game of the season. In all, Saint Anselm hit 15-of-26 long balls (58-percent) and 26-of-29 free throws (90-percent) with 20 assists on 30 baskets.  

Matt Cahill (Bridgewater, Mass.) led four players in double figures 25 points (4-for-6 3-point, 9-for-10 FT) to go along with eight rebounds and six assists. Jim Moore (Worcester, Mass.) added 17 points and nine rebounds, Jim Holsworth (Bogota, N.J.) had 16 points (4-for-8 3-point), and Chris Conroy (Kingston, Mass.) added 12 points (4-for-7 3-point) and five rebounds.

Saint Michael's was led by Eric Swiezynski (Wilmington, Mass./Wilmington) who had 12 points (six rebounds), and Ryan Maloney (Chicopee, Mass./Chicopee) who came off the bench to score 11 points on 4-for-6 shooting.

Saint Anselm returns to action on Monday, hosting Saint Michael's in a 7:30 contest at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium.
