WALTHAM, Mass. - Despite the 10th and 11th goals of the season for senior Jilby Danis (Burlington, Vt./Rice Memorial), Saint Michael's College fell to No. 7 Bentley College, 3-2, Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference field hockey action.

Following a scoreless first half, the Falcons opened the scoring 86 seconds into the second period on Mary Rogers' (Watertown, Mass./Watertown) team-leading eighth goal of the season. Ten minutes later, the Purple Knights scored the equalizer, with senior Michelle Patts (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) earning the assist.

Bentley regained the lead exactly two minutes later on freshman Lindsey Harrington's (Atkinson, N.H./Timberlane Regional) fifth goal. Danis again tied the game midway through the half, with an assist credited to senior Jessica Simmons (Bethlehem, N.H./Profile). The game-winner came with 9:07 remaining, as senior Laura Galenski (Deerfield, Mass./Frontier Regional) scored on a shot from just inside the circle.
