COLCHESTER, VT – Junior Amanda Lohin (Wellesley, Mass.) scored four goals and added a pair of assists to lead the Saint Michael’s College women’s lacrosse team to an 8-4 victory over Northeast-10 Conference rival Bentley College at Doc Jacobs field today.

With the victory, the Purple Knights halt a four-game losing skid and improve to 2-0 in the NE-10 and 3-4 overall. The Falcons drop to 1-2 with the loss.

SMC jumped out to a 4-0 lead as Lohin scored back-to-back goals to put the Purple Knights on the board, and freshman Alexa Huckins-Noss (Calais, Vt.) followed with consecutive tallies.  The home team took a 6-2 lead into intermission.
