MEN'S LACROSSE CRUSHES FRANKLIN PIERCE
Purple Knights Extend Win Streak To Three Games

COLCHESTER, VT – Greg Gosier (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and Bryan Barletto (Liverpool, N.Y.) each scored four goals apiece to lead the Saint Michael’s College men’s lacrosse team to a 24-0 rout of visiting Franklin Pierce College in Northeast-10 Conference men’s lacrosse action at Doc Jacobs Field today.

With the victory, the Purple Knights improve to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the NE-10, while the Ravens remain winless at 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the league.

Thirteen different players scored for SMC, as the home team went up 9-0 after the first quarter. Senior Jonathan Curley (W. Hartford, Conn.) tallied two goals and assisted on two others for four points in the first 15 minutes of play. He then helped out on four other goals in the second stanza as Saint Michael’s took a 17-0 lead into intermission.

Freshman goalie Brian Hingston (Concord, Mass.) recorded his first career shutout for Saint Michael’s, while Andy Cote (Middleton, Mass.) made 21 saves for the Ravens.

Saint Michael’s returns to action this Saturday when the team travels to Southern New Hampshire for a 1 p.m. game, while Franklin Pierce hosts Bryant.
