MEN'S LACROSSE WINS 7th STRAIGHT
Duffy Nets Four Goals For SMC

WORCESTER, MA - Junior Kevin Duffy (Yonkers, N.Y.) scored four goals and tallied an assist to lead the Saint Michael's men's lacrosse team to a 21-3 victory over Northeast-10 rival Assumption College on Saturday.

The win is the seventh straight for the Purple Knights, who improve to 8-2 overall and 6-1, while Assumption falls to 3-8 and 2-7 in the NE-10. 

Fourteen different players scored for Saint Michael's, which is now second in the league standings behind undefeated Le Moyne. Senior Greg Gosier (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) had a hat trick and two assists, while junior Bryan Barletto (Liverpool, N.Y.) had a team leading five assists in the victory.

Senior Jim Crozier (Avon, Conn.) and freshman Bryan Hingston (Concord, Mass.) split time in goal for Saint Michael's, with the pair combining for eight saves in the game. 

SMC returns to action on Monday when the team travels to Saint Anselm for a 4 p.m. contest.
