Five soccer players honored following win at Bentley on Sunday

Phone: (802) 654-2537COLCHESTER, Vt. - Seven Saint Michael's College student-athletes were named to the Northeast-10 Conference weekly honor roll on Monday, including five soccer players.In men's soccer, seniors Jerrod Hall (Bennington, Vt./Mount Anthony Union) and Patrick Melvin (Belmont, Vt./Black River), plus freshman Jan Heyboer (Park Ridge, N.J./Don Bosco Prep), were recognized. Hall scored the lone goal (his second game-winner of the season) in Sunday's 1-0 shutout at Bentley College. Melvin notched the shutout victory (his fifth shutout of the season) with two saves, while Heyboer assisted on the game-winning tally.
In women's soccer, sophomores Courtney Delurey (Hoosick Falls, N.Y./Hoosick Falls) and Laura Tuveson (Norfolk, Mass./King Philip Regional) were chosen. Delurey scored her first goal of the season, a game-winner, in Sunday's 2-1 victory at Bentley, while Tuveson earned the victory in goal (her second win of the season).
In field hockey, junior Lindsay Harrison (Brandon, Vt./Otter Valley Union) earned honor roll honors. Harrison notched her team-leading third game-winning goal of the season in Thursday's 2-1, double-overtime victory at Saint Anselm College.
In volleyball, senior Jessica Mulroy (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) earned recognition. She compiled 133 assists in four matches (9.5 per game), including 50 versus Union College on Friday, and added a team-high .353 attack percentage.
