PURPLE KNIGHTS DROP SEASON OPENER TO LE MOYNE, 3-0 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                                      FOR MORE INFORMATION September 10, 2005                                                                   Contact: Daniel O’Reilly                                                                                                 Phone: (802) 654-2929  COLCHESTER, Vt. – Saint Michael's College (0-1, 0-1 NE-10) dropped its first match of the season, 3-0 (30-20, 30-25, 30-21) in three close games to Le Moyne College (7-2, 1-1 NE-10) on Saturday at the Ross Sports Center. The Dolphins were led by freshman Jodi Smith (Angola, N.Y./Eden), who tallied 13 total kills, and junior Julie McLaud (Pine Bush, N.Y./Pine Bush) who recorded a match-high 38 assists. Amanda McClure (Painted Post, N.Y./Coming West) was the team leader with 17 digs.            For the Purple Knights, co-captain Jessica Mulroy (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) assisted on 28 points as fellow senior Kaitlyn Rae (Willbraham, Mass./Minnechuag Reg.) contributed with 11 kills.
