The Purple Knights won all six singles matches in straight sets to improve to 5-3 on the season, 4-3 in the conference. The Hawks drop to 2-6 overall, 1-6 NE-10 with the loss. The first match of the day was the closest as SMC’s Shannon Bergin and Heidi Murphy outlasted Saint Anselm’s Lauren Koloski (Newbury, Mass./ Triton Reg.) and Chelsea Allan (Milford, Mass./ Milford) at #1 Doubles, needing a 7-3 tiebreaking score to offset an 8-8 stalemate.
