Saint Michael's new mascot was unveiled prior to the final field hockey game of the regular season at Duffy Field on October 22. SMC fell to UMass Lowell, 3-0.

MEN'S BASKETBALL LOSES TO STONEHILL
EASTON, Mass. - James Sorrentine led Saint Michael's (1-3, 0-1 NE-10) with 17 points and freshman Mike Iola scored 13 in a 92-70 loss to Stonehill, Sunday afternoon at Merkert Gymnasium.  

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DEFEATED BY STONEHILL
EASTON, Mass. - Dani Rayner scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Jevy Rayner added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Purple Knights (2-1, 0-1 NE-10), in the team's 75-66 loss to Stonehill, Sunday afternoon at Merkert Gymnasium.  

MEN'S HOCKEY ROLLS PAST ASSUMPTION, 9-2
WORCESTER, Mass. - SMC (2-1-1, 1-1-0 NE-10) stretched its unbeaten streak to three games with a 9-2 win at Assumption on Tuesday.

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Tournament MVP Dani Rayner had a team-high 15 points as SMC (2-0) beat University of the Sciences, 64-51, on Sunday at the DoubleTree Tip-Off Classic at the Ross Sports Center.

WALTHAM, Mass. - The SMC men were fourth, and the SMC women seventh, at the Bentley Invitational on Sunday.

COLCHESTER, Vt. - SMC won its season opener over Queens, 67-53, on Saturday at the DoubleTree Tip-Off Classic. Saint Anselm won the day's first game, 65-64.
