Former Norwich University standout Mike Ludwar returns to the bench for his third season as an assistant with the Purple Knights’ program.

Ludwar was captain of the 1999-2000 Norwich University squad that won the Division III national championship. He was named a first-team All-American at defense after recording five goals and 19 assists in his senior season.

A team leader from the beginning, Ludwar held assistant captaincy as a sophomore and junior, and was named a second team All-American as a junior.

He finished his career with 81 points.

A native of Grayson, Saskatchewan, Ludwar played for the Flin Flan Bombers of the SJHL before attending Norwich.
