John A. Kendrick- Class of 1954

Kendrick is the first member of the SMC Hall of Fame that was elected as an Olympic sport athlete.  His feats were truly remarkable as he was a Decathlon Champion (U.S. Army, Europe, 1955), an eight-time New York Athletic Club Champion, and Eastern U.S. AAU Decathlon Champion.
